Classic Double Rooms
Classic Double Rooms are intimate and comfortable, furnished in a more traditional style, and very welcoming. These accommodations are decorated in ancient Venice’s typical furnishings, made of simplicity and good taste. As no two guestrooms in the Metropole are the same, every Classic Double Room is different. The walls are covered with fabrics in shades of red and cream and decorated with period prints or fans belonging to the hotel's private collection. Elegant Venetian fabrics have been used for the bedspreads and cushions, and the guestrooms are furnished with original pieces from various periods. Classic Double Rooms look out over the hotel's internal courtyard garden, the canal, or the picturesque streets.

Deluxe Double Rooms
All Deluxe Double Rooms are particularly refined and valuable and are different from each other in style, concept, and furniture. The guestrooms have precious period furnishings from original Renaissance and liberty-style, to art deco and the more recent sixties style and southern Italian design as well as a slightly exotic style. Some of the Deluxe Double guestrooms enjoy spectacular views over the city thanks to private sun-drenched terraces.

Junior Suites
Junior Suites are spacious guestrooms that make a grand impression with spectacular views of the lagoon or out over the Rio
della Pietà or the internal courtyard garden. Some Junior Suites have beautiful private sun-lit terraces equipped with tables and offering breathtaking views over the rooftops of the city. These suites are all different from each other and decorated with original period pieces of furniture and antiquarian objects -- paintings, prints, and fans from the Metropole's private collection. Precious Venetian fabrics made by Bevilacqua in warm shades of red and bronze decorate the walls, and the cushions and bedspreads are covered with soft silks and velvets.

Suites
The Metropole Hotel's bright and spacious suites have a separate sitting room elegantly furnished with coffee table, comfortable divan, and armchairs, offering delightful views over the lush garden. The suites, each with its own distinctive character, are decorated in the elegant style of a Venetian private palazzo -- furnished with original antiques and numerous antiquarian objects from the Metropole's own private collections and the walls hung with precious silks and Venetian velvets.

Exclusive Suites
Exclusive Suites are the most fabulous guestrooms in the hotel. Elegant and sophisticated, they have truly unique characteristics and a warm atmosphere. Each of the suites has a different name that underlines its specific difference and distinct decor.

Met Restaurant
Combining the delicate flavors of Venice with the spices and aromas from the Orient, Chef Corrado Fasolato creates a unique and delightful dining experience at the two Michelin-starred Met Restaurant, one of Venice’s most exclusive restaurants. His highly alternative, fusion cuisine is imaginative, surprising, and magnificent. In harmony with the exceptional cuisine, the Met Restaurant dining room is pervaded by soft light by Murano glass chandeliers created by the Seguso glassworks, providing a discreet and atmospheric presence.

Oriental Bar
The Oriental Bar is an enchanting Moroccan-style corner with mellow lights, soft sofas, and damask cushions. Each corner of this stylish bar is filled with treasures, from the windows, a breathtaking view of the Island of San Giorgio; on the walls, elegant Fortuny lamps and original Thai armoires of the late 19th century. A variety of snacks and a lunch menu are offered during the day.

Courtyard Citrus Garden
For casual dining among palms and jasmines, guests will appreciate the calm beauty and delectable menus featured in the garden restaurant.

The Gallery
Lavish period furniture, precious fabrics, and priceless antiques are all found in the Metropole Hotel’s impressive Gallery. From 19th-century visiting-card cases and Belle Époque evening bags to curious corkscrews and nutcrackers, the Metropole Hotel’s private collection of antiques is remarkable. Among the most noteworthy items are The Gallery’s collections of crucifixes, the largest in all of Italy.

L’Etage Dei Ventagli
One entire floor of the Metropole Hotel is lovingly dedicated to a collection of more than 100 fans from different ages: magnificent in feathers from the deco period, delicate in silk and fabric, hand painted or embroidered with floral decoration.

The Rite of Tea
This is the high point of afternoons at the Metropole from October to March. A selection of rare leaf tea blends is served with a special ceremony made of candles, soft music, and exquisite sandwiches and pastries made by the chef.
