LEVIN IGLUT
The glass-ceilinged Levin Iglut igloos rest on the fell slope, at an altitude of about 340 m. They offer guests luxury on the edge of the wilderness: a view of the rugged fell landscape and the northern sky, high-quality accommodation and personalised, heartfelt service. Levin Iglut is located in Finnish Lapland, to the north of the Arctic Circle. Here, the winter lasts for half the year and you can often see the northern lights on clear nights. Guests are surrounded by the arctic nature, yet inside the glass igloo it is always warm and all amenities are within reach. Even though the centre of Levi and its services are only 10 km away, it is peaceful and quiet at Levin Iglut.

Spending the night in Levi Igloos is magical. As well as the spectacular view, the glass igloos also provide a surprisingly spacious interior with high-level amenities. You can drift off to sleep in a luxurious warm bed on the fell slope while admiring the starry arctic sky – you do not even have to leave the igloo during your stay if you do not want to.
Each of the igloos feature electrically heated non-fogging glass, air conditioning, a small kitchen, shower and toilet, a wi-fi connection and motorized beds, which you can adjust to the desired position for watching the northern lights or sleeping
The Premium igloos offer a touch of luxury, and are situated in a prime location on the side of the fell with an unobstructed view of the valley. Our two-person Premium igloos are especially popular with honeymooners. The Superior igloos also provide an unobstructed view of the sky with space for an entire family, with the option of an extra bed for two children under the age of 12.

The Northern Lights House
provides accommodation in a luxurious setting for a small group (max. 4 adults and 2 children). Both of the double bedrooms have their own toilet and one has its own shower. Guests may choose to use the well-equipped kitchen for preparing all their meals and enjoy the atmosphere of two fireplaces.
The hot tub in the private terrace provides the perfect setting for combining the hunt for northern lights with a luxurious moment of pampering. Delightful details crown the magnificently equipped house: a mood ceiling decorates the living room, and the refrigerator embedded in the sauna wall keeps drinks cold even in intense heat.

Levin Iglut – Golden Crown is open from the end of August to the end of April. They have a low season during the snowless period of autumn. The services provided vary slightly between high and low season, so please explore the information on their website prior to your arrival.
RESTAURANT
Aurora Sky
In the restaurant Aurora Sky, you can enjoy Scandinavian flavours in two different atmospheres. On the upper floor, your dinner is seasoned with an unobstructed view of the sky, while on the ground floor, you can enjoy your meal in the warm glow of the fireplace.
Simple pure flavours and fresh high-quality raw materials are important to them. In all dishes, they use as much organically produced raw materials and local produce as possible.
The restaurant can hold up to 80 diners. Aurora Sky attracts customers from the entire Levi area, so we recommend you reserve a table for dinner.
Levin Iglut are open throughout the entire northern lights season
The idea behind the glass igloos is not only to convey the impression of sleeping in the middle of nature, but also to provide guests with the opportunity to admire the beauty of the northern lights in comfortable conditions. During the northern lights season, from the end of August to the end of April, the nights in Lapland are dark enough for the lights to be visible.

This season covers almost all that the arctic year has to offer: from biting autumn days to snowy, freezing polar nights, to snowdrifts sparkling in the late winter sun.

Snow normally starts to fall in November, and from the beginning of December to the end of April there is plenty of it for snow activities, such as:

The igloos and the restaurant/reception building are only a stone’s throw away from each other. Parking is free for customers.
