DINING

THE GREAT HOUSE

With a strong influence from Laotian regional specialties, the menu truly embraces local culture. Our food and beverage program supports the local community through a 'farm-to-the table' dining concept that emphasises locally sourced and seasonal foods. This concept enables them to create a restaurant immersed in local identity. With no pre-defined menu, the chef works with local farmers, visits the area's markets and prepares a daily changing menu according to the available ingredients. The wonderful organic kitchen garden at the property will provide herbs and produce for much of the menu.

ELEPHANT BRIDGE BAR

The Elephant Bridge Bar is your destination for relaxation and refreshment. Although not used by elephants today, this wonderful wooden bridge—a nod to the area's wild past—provides Rosewood Luang Prabang guests with a highly unique place to enjoy classic cocktails accompanied by traditional Laotian bar snacks. Interested in trying something different? Order one of their drinks with a twist, which is made using local herbs and spices grown in their own organic garden.

WELLNESS

In a pristine environment surrounded by majestic mountains, Sense, A Rosewood Spa® offers a variety of luxury treatments and signature holistic offerings. Time-honored practices are perceptively customized to your needs, paired with natural ingredients that are sustainable, carefully cultivated and thoughtfully sourced. Combined with riverside pool, this is a sanctuary of simplicity and purity.

River Cruises

Luang Prabang sits on a small promontory in between the Nam Khan and Mekong rivers, and for centuries the waterways were not only the sole way for residents to get in and out of the city, but also its lifeblood, supplying fish and fresh water. Today, you can experience the magic of Southeast Asia's most famous river with a special cruise onboard its most luxurious vessels.

Heritage Walk

Walking through the streets of Luang Prabang, you are surrounded by history – from the centuries-old temples to the colonial French mansions. However, it's hard to know exactly when or why they were built, which is why a heritage walking tour with Trails of Indochina is such an insightful experience, as your locally born guide reveals the city's hidden secrets.
