Opt to include all meals, activities and transportation to ensure everything is taken care of in one package, allowing you to relax and simply on focus on what's important here: the great outdoors. Spend days exploring the rolling hills in the mountain resort of Crested Butte and tailor each day to include a perfect balance of high-octane adventures and pampering relaxation.

The lodge can be taken exclusively or hired out cabin by cabin, giving the option of total privacy to families or groups wishing to travel together. Accommodation consists of just six queen-bedded cabins and two three-bedroom family homes; three of the cabins have twin-bedded lofts making it a perfect choice for families. A separate building provides a games room, dining space, private bar, lounge and outdoor seating area where campfires can be enjoyed, along with spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. For relaxation there is a bathhouse with a sauna and hot tub, fitness centre and spa treatment rooms.

Getting off the grid is easy at Taylor River Lodge, with plenty to occupy active minds amidst the breathtaking backdrop of Taylor Canyon. Head out to the reservoir for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or swimming, tuck into picnics on the banks or take out the mountain bikes for a spin. Rock-climbing, horse-riding, archery and yoga top it all off to create a holiday which captures the imagination of both young and old.

A separate lodge offers communal dining space, a private bar, lounge with fireplace and outdoor seating where a campfire can be set up. There is also a bathhouse with a lap pool, steam room, sauna and hot tub, a fitness room and two spa treatment rooms. A Games room offers a pool table, fussball table and dartboard and there is also a private climbing wall.

ACTIVITIES

the activity selection on site comprises fly-fishing and float fishing, rock-climbing and archery. Off site you will find mountain biking, Off-road driving, hiking, horse riding, white-water rafting and Stand up paddle boarding. Child specific activities led by a youth adventure specialist.
