TREEHOUSES

Treehouse Lodge—the only lodge of it’s kind in the Amazon Rainforest—is an all-inclusive, luxury lodge located at the confluence of the serene and protected Yarapa and Cumaceba Rivers near the Pacaya Samiria Reserve. Visit and you’ll see the rainforest from an entirely new perspective that most visitors never experience—the treetop canopy.

You’ll never forget the experience of watching monkeys and birds at eye level as every morning you’ll wake up to a safari of animal life before you even get out of bed. Not to worry, you won’t sacrifice any of the usual comforts found on the ground. Every bungalow is equipped with showers, sinks, toilets and clean, white linens. Your personal treehouse bungalow gets you up off the jungle floor and helps you enjoy the airy relief from the heat and humidity.

The Treehouses stand tall and provide a beautiful, secluded home nestled amongst the trees. On one side, you will be greeted by spacious views spanning the rainforest; on the other, the rainforest will be right next to you. As this treehouse sits farther into the jungle, it brings the sights and sounds of the wild close to home. A portable cot can be provided if requested for an additional person.

Accommodation Insight

A luxurious all-inclusive jungle lodge in the lush Peruvian Amazon, with an English-speaking guide, refreshing drinks and excursions of your choice

On the black waters of the Yarapa River in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon sits Treehouse Lodge, a 345-acre rainforest preserve.

This TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence-winning jungle habitat boasts unparalleled access to the wonders of nature, with its unique lodgings set high in the canopy. Between the primary-growth rainforest and the hotel's eco-friendly measures, such as using solar power to self-generate electricity, this stretch of tropical land is essentially untouched.

During your stay, you’ll benefit from unforgettable excursions to appreciate the local plant life and wildlife, although there’s more than enough nature to go around on the property itself. On the premises, you’re likely to see five species of monkeys, colourful macaws and parakeets and, if you venture to where the Yarapa meets the Cumacemba River, even a pink dolphin. If it sounds extraordinary, it is – here in this beautiful stretch of the rainforest, extraordinary is perfectly normal.

The hotel is committed to making its setting comfortable for all its guests. Staff will transport your luggage to and from your Treehouse, and paths are lit at night to ensure a safe walk to and from the lodge. Mosquito netting protects every bed.

It's worth knowing that, consistent with the property's eco-friendliness, showers feature only cool water.

all excursions of your choice and an English/Spanish speaking guide.
